The Story of Earth to Go and Biodegradable Food Service, LLC

In a world overflowing with waste, we saw an opportunity to do better. That’s how Biodegradable Food Service, LLC—now known to many as Earth-To-Go—got its start back in 2003 in the eco-conscious town of Bend, Oregon. What began as a small team with a big idea quickly grew into a national presence, and in 2011, we moved our operations to Richland, Missouri—right in the heart of the Central Ozarks. But no matter where we’re located, one thing has always been true: our mission is to make sustainability simple and scalable for the food service industry.

We specialize in creating compostable, bio-based food containers, cups, bowls, cutlery, and more—products that work hard in high-demand kitchens and leave a lighter footprint on the planet. Every item we make is crafted from annually renewable resources and certified compostable by trusted third-party standards, including BPI, USDA BioPreferred, and marine degradability certifications.
